There was a brief time when Jay Cutler was on the cusp of television stardom. Back in 2017, when it was believed that Cutler was retired, things lined up for the former Chicago Bears quarterback to share a broadcast booth with Kevin Burkhardt. And then Cutler returned to football later that year, coming out of retirement to join the Miami Dolphins in a decision that left a media career in the rearview mirror for the time being.
